Wicked Appetite

Wicked Appetite (Lizzy & Diesel, #1)Wicked Appetite by Janet Evanovich
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve read a lot of bad reviews for this book, but I loved it! The characters, Lizzy, Diesel, and Glo had me laughing out loud.
Imagine going through life with a natural talent for making superb cupcakes. Only to find out that maybe your natural talent might be a bit of magickal talent.
Mix magick, the main characters, a monkey and a one eyed cat and your in for a humorous adventure. By the end of this book I’m wanting to read the second book straight away. I’m looking forward to seeing where Diesel and Lizzy go from here.

  1. I’m fairly sure I have this book. I have so many I can’t remember until I pick it up and look. I have all of her books and I have enjoyed them ALL.

  2. This is my first experience with her. I’ve got the second book in this series but not the third. I’m looking forwarding to reading more.

I know what you mean about books. I’ve read so many that they run together in my head. I very rarely remember the names of books I’ve read. I have to see it and sometimes start to read it again to know if I’ve read it. LOL

    • The Diesel books are ok…the Stephanie Plum books are excellent. Same author but different “cast”. Rachel and I LOVE the Stephanie books

  3. The humor is what had me wanting more with this set of books. Of course I’ve only read the one.
I have no life so it doesn’t take much, I guess.
I’ll put the Stephanie Plum books on my list. I feel like I read the first one in the series a few years back but not positive on that.

  4. I think I have a couple of Stephanie books in my cloud library – you can read them too! It helps to start with the first book of course – all the books in the series are labeled like “One for the Money” and “Two for the Dough” , “Three to Get Deadly” etc…there are a ton of them which is also excellent. She’s hillarious too.
