For over a year now, everytime I logged on to my laptop I’d get a popup to download and install windows 10. I was very leery of it as there are always so many bugs at first. As soon as my friends started making the switch I heard both good and horrible things.
As time went on I heard very few horror stories and more “I love it, and I’m so happy I made the switch”. Even so I was still very skeptical. I only had until July to get the update for free and I hated windows 8, and it was already June. I weighed the pros and cons and decided to go for it.
I took a few days and backed up my pc so if something went wrong at least I wouldn’t lose my stuff. I’d just have to do a fresh install.
So here I am. I’m an official windows 10 user. Woo hooo!!! I’m rollin with the big dogs now.
Am I in love with it? No. Do I hate it? No. I have a few programs that were very old that no longer work. I’m bummed about that, even though I didn’t use them often. However, there is one cool feature. Her name is Cortana and she’s my newest friend. Yeah, I’m cool like that.
I was messing around earlier and thought what can I ask her today? So I came up with what I thought was going to an unanswerable question. I was wrong and pleasantly surprised. I asked her if she could get me a new life. Well, I’ll be damned if she didn’t pull up some links on how to achieve that.
If your wondering how you can get a new life too click the link http://www.wikihow.com/Start-a-New-Life . To be truthful I didn’t really read the page. I glanced through it and was amused by the pictures. At this stage in my life it doesn’t take a lo to amuse me.
The moral of the story is this…. Change can be a good thing and it doesn’t always have to be something to fear. Find humor in the little things.
Until next time;
